CRAFTSMAN STYLE KITCHEN
The homeowners’ primary objective was to establish a central gathering space within their home. Their vision included incorporating high-quality Rutt cabinetry in a craftsman style kitchen, equipped with modern amenities. Given their passion for cooking and entertaining, multiple functional areas needed to be integrated. Addressing the challenge of the existing layout, particularly the doorway leading to the hall which limited cabinetry options, required innovative solutions.
This included designing a French door refrigerator to resemble a standalone “amoire” and optimizing space for appliances near the cooking area. Additionally, to enhance traffic flow in the spacious yet narrow room, an entertainment area was strategically positioned adjacent to the dining space. The crafted mahogany wood with stain and glaze added character and warmth, complementing the desired aesthetic. Key features such as 30” refrigerated drawers and a steam oven were integrated to facilitate efficient and healthy cooking. Ultimately, the final design not only met but exceeded the homeowners’ expectations, reigniting their love for their kitchen space.
